Report of Smoke Grounds American Airlines Plane At Logan Airport

BOSTON (CBS) -- Emergency crews responded to reports of smoke in an American Airlines plane on the ground at Logan Airport late Friday afternoon.

The Boeing 737 took off around 4:10p.m. from Logan and was headed to Los Angeles' LAX airport. The plane landed back at Logan about 20 minutes after takeoff after passengers smelled smoke.

Fire crews responded to the scene around 5:00p.m. and found no signs of smoke.

No passengers needed medical attention.
