Six Wanted For MBTA Red Line Attack

BOSTON (CBS) -- MBTA Police are trying to find six people who attacked some passengers on the Red Line last weekend.

Transit Police released surveillance video Tuesday showing Sunday night's assault at the Broadway Station.

Investigators say the first victim got into an argument with the group and they attacked.

Two strangers tried to help defuse the situation and they were assaulted as well.

"Two females tried to intervene when they saw the victim being kicked in the head," said Joseph O'Connor, superintendent of the MBTA Police.
