The amusement park says this Mother Nature-themed ride is made of both steel and wood, making it one of only five "hybrid" coasters in the world.

Six Flags claims there are several points where a rider will feel weightless.

It features a 78-degree drop at 55 mph, and climbs 10 stories into the air.

The park let meteorology students from Western Connecticut State University take the first ride.
