Shark Sighting At Nauset Beach

ORLEANS (CBS) – Beachgoers on Cape Cod had to get out of the water Sunday afternoon because of a shark sighting.

The sighting of a great white shark off the shore of Nauset Beach in Orleans was confirmed by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy's Sharktivity app.

The beach was closed for about an hour.
