Second Person Charged In Produce Theft From Concord, NH Community Garden
CONCORD, NH (CBS) - A second person is facing charges for allegedly stealing produce from a community garden used by low-income families.
Back in September, N.H. State Police troopers were contacted by the project manager of the Sycamore Community Garden Project about two separate occasions where produce was stolen.
Recently, police were able to identify Amanda Gosselin, 27, of Boscawen, New Hampshire as a suspect in the case.
Gosselin turned herself into police after a warrant was issued for her arrest.
Gosselin is charged with one count of theft by unauthorized taking, a Class A misdemeanor.
Back in September, Francisco Sorrentino III, 29, also of Boscawen was arrested on similar charges.
At the time, witnesses alleged that he filled several 5-gallon buckets with a variety of produce and took off with them in his truck.
