Missing Natick boater found dead in Fiske Pond
NATICK - A missing Natick boater was found dead late Saturday night in Fiske Pond.
Firefighters said the man went missing after a canoe capsized in the southern part of Lake Cochituate. Fiske Pond is a sub-basin of that lake.
One other boater was able to make it to the shore and received medical assistance.
Dive teams and a helicopter searched into the night looking for the missing man and eventually located him using side-scan sonar.
