Santa's Village employee seriously hurt after falling from rollercoaster platform

JEFFERSON, N.H. -- An employee at Santa's Village in Jefferson, New Hampshire was seriously hurt after falling from a ride's platform on Saturday.

The New Hampshire State Fire Marshall said a 51-year-old man suddenly fell off the platform while a rollercoaster was in motion.

He suffered serious injuries and was still in the hospital as of Monday, according to Santa's Village spokesperson Jim Miller. His name has not been made public.

The ride remains closed and the incident is under investigation.
