Man Steals Special Olympics Donation Jars From NH Convenience Store

SALEM, N.H. (CBS) – Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera stealing two Special Olympics donation jars from a New Hampshire convenience store.

Salem Police say a man took the containers from Circle K on North Broadway on Sunday around 5:30 a.m.

After pumping gas, the man walked into the store and can be seen on security cameras taking the donation jars for New Hampshire Special Olympics while the clerk was distracted.

Police say the man then left the store in a silver 2012 Honda Civic that is registered to a Concord, N.H. woman.

It is not known how much money was in the donation jars.
