Head-On Crash Shuts Down Sagamore Bridge, 2 Hurt
BOURNE (CBS) -- The Sagamore Bridge was shut down for about an hour Tuesday morning after a head-on crash left at least one person seriously injured.
Massachusetts State Police said that, in total, four cars and one tractor-trailer were involved in the crash.
Two people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

One person told WBZ-TV the impact was so violent that debris flew up over the side of the bridge and landed near the train tracks below.
The bridge, which connects Cape Cod to mainland Massachusetts, was shut down in both directions.

State Police announced the bridge was reopened around 8:15 a.m., but that there were still delays in the area.
The cause of the crash was not yet known.
