Runner Reports Indecent Assault By Bicyclist Near Jamaica Pond

BOSTON(CBS) -- A woman running near Jamaica Pond reported being indecently assaulted by a man riding a bicycle Monday morning, Boston police say.

The victim said she was running near the Jamaica Pond boathouse around 9:30 a.m. when the bicyclist approached her from behind and "slapped her in the buttock region," according to police.

The woman told police that she screamed and the man on the bike fled in an unknown direction.

Police are looking for a black or Hispanic man in his early 20s, who is about six feet tall with a medium build. He was wearing a white ball cap with red trim that could be a Chicago Bulls cap, a dark sweatshirt, dark pants and white sneakers, according to the woman's description.
