Icy Conditions, Window Bars Hinder Firefighters During Roxbury Apartment Fire

BOSTON (CBS) – Fifteen people, including eight children were forced out of their homes by an early morning fire in Roxbury.
The fire started around 1 a.m. in the building on Forest Street in Roxbury.
Officials said icy conditions and bars on the windows made it difficult for firefighters on the scene.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries.
Damages are estimated around $150,000.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
