Driver Killed In Van Crash On Route 24 In Randolph

RANDOLPH (CBS) - The driver of a van was killed and a passenger was seriously hurt in a rollover crash on Route 24 in Randolph early Tuesday morning.

State Police say the Chevrolet van was in the southbound lanes just after 1:30 a.m. when, for some unknown reason, it veered off to the left into the grass median, then came back to the right, across the road, before it hit a guardrail and rolled over.

The driver was ejected and died at the scene, according to investigators.

The passenger was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.

Their names have not been made public.

No other information is available at this point in the investigation.
