Rockland Police Release Sketch Of Suspect In Alleged Abduction
ROCKLAND (CBS) ---Rockland Police have released a sketch of the man they say is wanted for kidnapping a 9-year-old boy, Tuesday afternoon.
A wanted poster describes the man as over 45 years old with salt and pepper hair with possibly a brown "rat's tail" in the back, wearing a black hoodie with white "USN" lettering on the front and wearing black framed, square glasses. The man was driving a light-colored, four-door sedan.

At about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, police say the boy "was guided to a vehicle" by a man whom he thought was a friend of his family.

The man then drove around Rockland and Abington for about 25 minutes before he told the boy to "get out" in the Lake Street area of Abington.
The child was not harmed, but police are worried the man might strike again.
Tips On School Safety: National Center For Missing And Exploited Children
Rockland Police Chief John Llewellyn says he's concerned this may have been a "dry run" for a future abduction.
On Wednesday, school officials in Rockland said they've brought in extra staff to help deal with students' anxiety about the alleged abduction.
