Pickup Truck Crashes Into Telephone Pole, Then Tree In Rockland

ROCKLAND (CBS) -- A pickup truck hit a telephone pole and then a tree in Rockland on Sunday morning, the fire department said. It happened on Summer Street the Abington line.

A home's front steps were also damaged in the crash.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital to be evaluated, according to a tweet by Rockland firefighters.

It's unclear what caused the crash. Rockland firefighters said they did not have any more information.
