Rochester, NH Police Identify Bicyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run

ROCHESTER, N.H. (AP) — Police say a bicyclist has been struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver in Rochester, New Hampshire.

Police say 51-year-old Jeffrey Howarth of Rochester was hit at about 12:30 a.m. Thursday on Route 11 in the area of the on-ramp to Route 16. They found him dead on the shoulder of the road beside a guardrail, with his damaged bicycle nearby. There was debris scattered along the on-ramp from the vehicle.

Police said they found the car later Thursday. No arrests have been made.

They are asking anyone who was in the area at the time or who may have information about what happened to contact the department.
