Robert Griffin III Channels Inner Bill Belichick: 'We're Focused On San Francisco'

BOSTON (CBS) - They say imitation is the best form of flattery.

It didn't work for Eric Mangini or Josh McDaniels when they left their New England cocoon to take head coaching jobs, reportedly trying too hard to emulate the coaching style of Bill Belichick.

Well somebody else is emulating the Patriots head coach, and his name is Robert Griffin III, the beleaguered starting quarterback for the Washington Redskins.

Earlier in the season mere days after getting crushed by the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football, Belichick dodged questions from reporters demanding answers like a wrench from Patches O'Houlihan, coining the now-famous phrase "we're on to Cincinnati."

Houston Texans signal caller Ryan Mallett stole the phrase following his team's win on Sunday, and now RG3 is following suit.

Griffin was asked to comment about his head coach, dialing it back with the media, his footwork, Steve Young's comments and a handful of other questions, only to respond simply, "We're focused on San Francisco."

Bill Belichick: 5-time Super Bowl champion, future Hall of Famer, expert chef and trend setter.

Is there anything this man can't do?
