Rob Gronkowski Visits Rhode Island Boy Fighting Stage Four Cancer

BOSTON (CBS) – Rob Gronkowski is showing support for an eight-year-old Rhode Island boy fighting an aggressive form of cancer.

Dorian has been in and out of hospitals for half his life undergoing treatment for stage four cancer. The disease is in his spine and moving toward his brain.

After years of treatment, Dorian and his family have chosen to make the most of his limited time, creating memories outside of the hospital.

This week, meeting the Patriots tight end became one of those memories.

The family posted several pictures of Dorian and Gronk hanging out the boy's home in Westerly, Rhode Island.

The Facebook post reads: Are you a Patriots fan?! You should be!

Dorian's family is asking people all over the world to use the hashtag "#dstrong" as a show of support.
