Rich Keefe's Fantasy Brief: Week 7 Waiver Wire

BOSTON (CBS) - Week 6 is in the books, and Week 7 starts right here in New England when the Patriots host the Jets on Thursday Night Football.

That game can be seen on WBZ-TV channel 4, and heard on 98.5 FM on the Sports Hub and Patriots Radio Network.

Every night on The Adam Jones Show Rich Keefe gives his fantasy advice in a segment they call the Fantasy Brief, and on Tuesday night, Keefe helps us navigate the waiver wire based on priority and position.

"This guy is still available in over 62 percent of leagues, which is pretty astonishing. That player is Mohamed Sanu of the Cincinnati Bengals. He's coming off a 10-catch, 120 yard game with a touchdown. If you're searching the waiver wire, he's a guy that should pop out at you. He's had double digit points four of the past five games. The bye week is already behind them, so if you have a high waiver priority you could have Sanu for the rest of the year. A.J. Green being injured last week worked in his favor, and he may not be back this week either. Even when he does come back he still won't be 100 percent. Turf toe is brutal to get over."

If you're in a really competitive league Mohamed Sanu is probably already owned, so Rich Keefe gave us all another name at the wide receiver position to go grab.

"I also like Andre Holmes with the Oakland Raiders. He's another guy coming off a huge week. He had 121 yards and two touchdowns on four catches. His best two games have also been his last two games. Derek Carr seems to be airing it out a little bit more, and he's looking to Holmes. Holmes is a big play guy, and according to ESPN he's available in 99 percent of leagues."

Malcolm Floyd of San Diego is another receiver Keefe likes.

"Philip Rivers has been throwing to everybody, so Malcolm Floyd is not a bad pick up, although I would put Holmes, and certainly Sanu over him."
