Missing RI Boy Found In Washington

WOONSOCKET, R.I. (CBS/AP) — The Amber Alert for a missing Woonsocket, Rhode Island boy has been cancelled. Police said Thursday night that 6-year-old Daniel Britt was found safe in Washington state and his mother is in custody.

Daniel was last seen Jan. 8 with his mother, Andria Britt. Authorities had said she may have gone to Washington, where she had family members.

The Amber Alert said a court granted Daniel's father sole custody of him, after Andria Britt skipped a court date and failed to return the boy.
