CHELSEA (CBS) – A Revere police officer suffered serious injuries following a crash in Chelsea Thursday morning.

It began when a call came in around 8 a.m. for a suspicious party on Park Avenue in Revere. The dispatched officer ended up pursuing the suspect in a high-speed chase, crashing his cruiser into a utility pole on Marginal Street in Chelsea.

Revere Police are looking for a 2014 Honda Accord with Mass. license plate 833TK1.

Gouthro has four outstanding warrants for his arrest. Murphy also has an outstanding warrant.

The officer was taken to Massachusetts General Hospital with serious injuries. The officer suffered a concussion and various contusions and was released from the hospital Thursday evening.

Witness Franchesco Ortiz was working nearby and immediately ran over to help pull the injured officer from his cruiser.

"He was just in pain, so much pain, he couldn't even talk he was just like 'help me'," Ortiz told WBZ-TV.

"His leg was hurting because he wasn't able to walk."
