After Mike Reiss' observation, the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport indicated Fletcher will sign a one-year deal.

Fletcher, 28, played in 38 games for the Patriots from 2010 to 2013, but spent last season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
With linebackers Dont'a Hightower (labrum) and Jerod Mayo (patellar tendon) recovering from surgery, both Spikes and Fletcher could be valuable assets in the interim.
