The Hockey Hall-of-Famer played an NHL record 1,767 games over a 25-year career, famously playing until age 51. He is fourth on the all-time scoring list with 1,850 career points. Known widely as the league's first great "power forward," Howe is second only to Wayne Gretzky with 801 career goals.
