Report: McDaniels Back In Mix For Browns Head Coaching Job?
BOSTON (CBS) - The Cleveland Browns are still searching for a head coach, and Josh McDaniels may be back in the mix.
According to Tony Grossi of ESPNCleveland.com, McDaniels and the Browns spoke again this week, and the Patriots' offensive coordinator could be back in the mix for Cleveland's coaching vacancy.

McDaniels interviewed with the Browns in early January during New England's playoff bye week. But he later removed his name from consideration, with a person close to McDaniels telling ESPN the time wasn't right for him to take a head coaching job.
McDaniels is currently in his second stint as New England's offensive coordinator, a position he held from 2006-2008 before taking the head coaching job in Denver. He returned to the Patriots at the end of 2011 as an offensive assistant before taking over as offensive coordinator for Bill O'Brien.

Another report said that Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Mike Pettine will have a second interview with the Browns on Thursday, and he could be offered the job should if the interview goes well.
