Red Sox Recall Eduardo Rodriguez, Will Start Saturday Vs. Yankees
BOSTON (CBS) -- Eduardo Rodriguez is back in the Majors.
The Red Sox lefty was recalled from Triple A Pawtucket on Friday, and is scheduled to start Saturday's tilt against the Yankees in New York.

The hopes are the 23-year-old southpaw can turn things around after a disappointing start to the season. Rodriguez suffered a knee injury in Spring Training and didn't make his first start until April 28 (in Triple A), and he's gone just 1-7 between Pawtucket and Boston.
In six starts with the Red Sox, Rodriguez is 1-3 with an 8.59 ERA. In his last outing before his demotion, Rodriguez allowed nine runs on 11 hits (including a pair of homers) in just 2.2 innings to the lowly Tampa Bay Rays in a 13-7 Boston loss.
But he pitched well in his last two outings for Pawtucket. Rodriguez tossed seven scoreless innings and allowed just two hits while striking out four on July 3 in a PawSox win over Columbus, then logged three innings of two-run ball on July 8 against Durham before that game was postponed due to rain.
In his seven starts with the Pawtucket this season, Rodriguez allowed 13 runs over 38 innings.
In 27 career starts in the Majors, Rodriguez is 11-9 with a 4.77 ERA and 1.377 WHIP.
