Red Sox Hold First Full Squad Workout; Moncada Arrives

BOSTON (CBS) -- The Boston Red Sox held their first full squad workout of the spring on Wednesday in Fort Myers, Florida.

The team met with owners John Henry, Larry Lucchino and Tom Werner early Wednesday morning before taking the field for the first time as a collective group.

They hit the batting cages and did numerous fielding drills for the first time as a team, though many of the position players have been down in Fort Myers for weeks preparing for the 2015 season. Pitchers and catchers held their first workout of the spring over the weekend.

One big development today is that Yoan Moncada, the Cuban prospect the Red Sox reportedly signed earlier this week, arrived at the team's facilities on Wednesday. He met with the team and underwent his physical.
