Red Line 'Flipper' Agrees To Community Service

BOSTON (CBS) – The so-called "Red Line flipper" has agreed to perform 30 hours of community service as his punishment.

Dylan Polin, 23, of Norwood, posted video of his stunt flipping over the tracks at the Park Street station on Instagram last month.

It went viral and caught the attention of the Transit Police.

Polin agreed to enter pre-trial probation, perform the community service and stay out of trouble, Transit Police Lt. Richard Sullivan told WBZ-TV.

If he meets all of those conditions, he'll be back in court in 60 days and charges will be dismissed.

"The Transit Police will not tolerate nor allow such criminal behavior," Sullivan said.

"I'm proud of it," Polin told WBZ last month. "It's something I've been wanting to do since I was a little kid."
