Rebekah Brooks Cleared In Phone Hacking Scandal

BOSTON (CBS) - In London, there were two different verdicts in the phone hacking scandal that rocked 'both sides of the pond' and forced media mogul Rupert Murdoch to shut down the "News of the World" tabloid.

WBZ NewsRadio's Mary Blake spoke with Jenny Gross, London Correspondent for the Wall Street Journal about the 'not guilty' verdict for editor Rebekah Brooks.

 

The trial, one of the most expensive in British legal history, stemmed from revelations that "News of the World" used illegal eavesdropping to get stories, and involved listening in on voice mails of celebrities and politicians.
