Rare Blue Lobster Caught In Gloucester

GLOUCESTER (CBS) -- A Gloucester lobsterman pulled a blue lobster out of the ocean on Saturday.

Toby with Captain Joe and Sons brought the lobster in to be photographed but then threw it back into the ocean, according to the fishing company's Facebook post.

It is believed that only one in every two million lobsters are blue, according to the New England Aquarium. They end up that way because of a genetic defect.
