Randolph Police Nab Trio Accused Of Stealing $30K Worth Of Furs

RANDOLPH (CBS) --- Police nabbed a trio of shoplifters they say stole thousands of dollars worth of furs and other clothing and whom they believe may have been targeting other local stores.

Three people were arrested for shoplifting from a fur shop on Route 28 in Randolph.

The owner of the shop called police Friday afternoon to say a woman and a man dressed as a woman were shoplifting inside the store.

Randolph police later arrested Pecola Brewington, 49, of Bethlehem, Pa., Tracy Adams, 49, and Tyrone Moore, 50, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.

Police say inside the SUV, they found furs and other items from the store along with a list of fur-shops and high-end clothing stores from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts.

The trio is expected to be arraigned Tuesday.
