Rainy One...

Your lawns and gardens will love today...your outdoor plans will not.  An area of low pressure is in the process of developing a stronger center in our coastal waters.  Flow around the low is counter-clockwise and therefore we are locked into a NE, onshore wind...not a good direction this time of year.  This storm is the remnant energy from the severe weather outbreak earlier in the week out in the Midwest. The result for is pretty much an all day rain with a few downpours in there too.  Steady rain will taper off this evening to mist and drizzle.  There are a few positives from this rain...a solid soaking for your flower beds, free car washes and very low pollen levels.

This will be a pretty good rain event...some spots may get an inch.
A mini June Nor'easter with a raw NE breeze and periods of rain today.
