Man Killed Outside Quincy Liquor Store Did Not Know Woman Who Allegedly Stabbed Him
QUINCY (AP) — A man fatally stabbed in a Quincy liquor store parking lot last week apparently did not know the 22-year-old woman charged with killing him, prosectors said in court.
Alyssa Dellamano, of Quincy, was held without bail after pleading not guilty to murder at her arraignment Wednesday in connection with the death last Friday of Cameron Nohmy, 24.
Dellamano was already in the parking lot of the Quincy store with friends when Nohmy, in the passenger seat of a pickup truck, pulled in with his friends, prosecutors said.
Surveillance video shows Nohmy getting out of the truck, and someone walking up to him and stabbing him several times, prosecutors said. Nohmy was taken to a Boston hospital where he was pronounced dead. Prosecutors did not disclose a motive.
Dellamano then left the area in an SUV with someone else, prosecutors said.
"There will be plenty of time to figure out what happened and who did this," Dellamano's attorney, Thomas Iovieno, told The Patriot Ledger. "My thoughts and prayers are with the victim and his family — he seemed like a nice kid."
One of Dellamano's friends is charged with misleading police for allegedly helping her elude authorities for five days until her arrest Wednesday.
