Man Dies After Being Run Over By Cab In Quincy

QUINCY (CBS) – A person died Friday afternoon after being run over by a cab in Quincy.

Police said a 68-year-old man was dropped off on Quincy Ave. around 2 p.m. Friday.

The man got out of the cab and walked to the back of the vehicle. It was at that point the man was run over by the van.

According to police, the man was rushed to Boston Medical Center but did not survive.

The cab driver remained on scene following the incident.

Quincy Police said the incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
