3-Story Observation Deck Proposed Atop Prudential Tower

BOSTON (CBS) – The Prudential Tower could be getting a new look.

The developer who owns the tower submitted plans to the City of Boston to renovate floors 50, 51, and 52.

The project would feature renovations and construction of a pavilion.

Developers aim to make a massive observation deck that would provide three floors of unobstructed views of Boston. There would be indoor and outdoor areas for visitors under the proposal.

It is not yet known when the project would be completed.
