President Obama To Visit Boston In March For Fundraiser

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are starting their 2014 fundraising push for Democrats.

Obama will take part in a round-table discussion on Feb. 28 in Washington. He plans to travel to Boston for another round-table and a dinner on March 5. All of the events will benefit the Democratic National Committee, which is still paying off debt from the 2012 presidential election.

Biden will travel to Minneapolis for a DNC event on Feb. 19. The following day, first lady Michelle Obama will be in New York for another DNC event.

Biden also plans to raise money next week for Florida congressional candidate Alex Sink.

Obama and Biden are expected to play a major role this year raising money for Democrats ahead of the midterm elections.
