Portuguese Man-O-Wars Wash Ashore At Yarmouth Beach

YARMOUTH (CBS) -- Beachgoers at Yarmouth are advised to be on the lookout for Portuguese Man-O-Wars.

Parks and Recreation officials say a number of the sea creatures that are not the same as a jellyfish have washed up on the beach.

Officials say that if you see one, don't touch it and add that if you get stung, to go to the lifeguard station immediately.

DCR staff members say the stings from the sea creatures are extremely painful.
