Police Pay Tribute To Fallen NH Officer

EXETER, N.H. (CBS/AP) — Police officers from around New England paid tribute to one of their own who was killed in the line of duty in New Hampshire.

Officer Stephen Arkell of Brentwood was shot to death after responding to a domestic disturbance call at a home on May 12.

Thousands of police officers paid their respects to Arkell at Exeter High School on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday, the public is invited to attend a memorial service for Arkell at the school at 11 a.m.

Public visitation is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Stockbridge Funeral Home in Exeter.
