Police Seek Woman Involved In Assault At Water Country

PORTSMOUTH (N.H.) - Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman they say was involved in a "simple assault" at Water Country on Monday.

The attack took place around 4:30p.m. Monday in the area of the Fried Dough Stand near the Wave Pool. Police say that an argument in the pool escalated between the woman and a teen who had pushed a tube away when it got too close. The woman knew the individual who was riding in the tube that was pushed.

She is described as black, heavy set -- possible pregnant -- with lip and eye piercings.

Anyone with any information is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department or Seacoast Crime Stoppers at (603) 431-1199.
