Police Seek Suspect In Fatal Everett Shooting
EVERETT (CBS) – Police are seeking a suspect in the murder of a man killed early Saturday morning in an Everett shooting.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan said a Nantucket man was killed on Elmwood Street in Everett just before 2 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators identified the victim as Magno Sosa, 32, of Nantucket, though his cause of death has not yet been determined. It appears he died after being shot, Ryan said.
"Detectives are seeking the individual responsible for this murder," said Ryan. "This is an active investigation at this time and anyone who may have information regarding this shooting is asked to please come forward to provide that information to law enforcement."
Massachusetts State Police, the Everett Police Department and the Middlesex District Attorney's office are conducting a joint investigation into Sosa's death.
