Police Seek Southbridge Man In Child Rape Case Who Cut Off GPS

SOUTHBRIDGE (CBS) -- Southbridge police are asking for the public's help to help find a wanted man who cut off his GPS bracelet.

Police said 26-year-old Gregory Lewis of Southbridge, who wears a monitoring bracelet for an ongoing rape of a child case, cut the bracelet off and drove away in his parents' vehicle. He is wanted on several outstanding felony arrest warrants, according to police.

Authorities are looking for a blue 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with license plate 85GF63. Lewis has made suicidal statements and has had past access to firearms, police said.
