Police Searching For Alleged Tyngsborough Bank Robber

TYNGSBOROUGH (CBS) - Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a TD Bank on Saturday afternoon.

At around 2:05 p.m., the suspect entered TD Bank on Middlesex Road, indicated he was carrying a gun and passed a note to the teller demanding money, police said.

An employee gave the suspect an undetermined amount of money, police said. The suspect fled the scene on foot north on Middlesex Road.

The suspect is described as 5 feet, 8 inches, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, with a mustache and beard, police said. He has brown hair and was wearing sunglasses. He should be considered armed and dangerous. Police are urging the public not approach the suspect if they spot him.
