Police: Man Pointed Laser Equipped Gun At Bouncers Outside NH Bar

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (CBS) – A New Hampshire man was arrested Friday night after he allegedly pointed a laser equipped gun at a bar's bouncer.

Portsmouth police said Gregory Cummings was arrested outside the Thirsty Moose on Congress Street.

Responding officers say that after being removed from the bar, Cummings allegedly pointed the laser equipped semi-automatic hand gun at two bouncers.

The bouncers wrestled the gun from Cummings, then pinned him down until police arrived.

Cummings was charged with felony reckless conduct and felony criminal threatening by use of a deadly weapon.

The Rochester, N.H., resident was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail.

He is scheduled to appear in court on May 18.
