'Police Lives Matter' Anonymously Written In Snow On State Police Cruiser

BOSTON (CBS) – State police took to social media to thank the person who anonymously wrote a pro-police message in snow that had coated a trooper's cruiser.

Massachusetts State Police posted on the department's Facebook page that Trooper Robert McCarthy's cruiser was parked in his driveway on Friday.

When McCarthy came outside to the cruiser, there was a light coat of snow covering it, and someone had written "Police Lives Matter" on the windshield using their finger.

"He doesn't know who did it, but when asked if he would begin an investigation to find out, he stated they will get a 'pass on this one,'" state police posted.

State police also wrote that they wanted to thank their supporters, adding that "ALL lives matter."
