Police Investigate Sex Assault In Downtown Boston

BOSTON (CBS) – Boston Police are investigating a sex assault that occurred near State Street and Atlantic Ave. Monday morning.

A woman told officers she was walking through the Greenway towards the Greenway Carousel at about 4:00 a.m. when a man approached her and sexually assaulted her.

The victim describes the man as white or Hispanic, between 40 and 50 years old with a thin build and scruff on his face. She told police he was wearing a dark-colored Bruins jersey and a baseball hat.
