Police Investigate Hit List At Winchester High School

WINCHESTER (CBS) – Police in Winchester are investigating an alleged threat made by a high school student against some of his classmates.

The student made the threats to a "specific list of students" during a discussion with a school service provider on Friday, police say.

The families of the students who were on the list were contacted by police. All Winchester Public School students were sent an alert about the so-called "hit list" Friday night.

There does not appear to be any widespread threat against the school or students, but additional resources will be made available to Winchester schools on Monday.
