Police Commissioner William Evans Will Not Run Boston Marathon

BOSTON (CBS) - Boston Police Commissioner William Evans will not run the Boston Marathon this year.

He says his full attention is on the security of the April 21 event and he doesn't have time to think about climbing Heartbreak Hill again.

Commissioner Evans has run the marathon 18 times and qualified to run it again this year.

Last year, two pressure cooker bombs were placed near the marathon finish line, killing three people and wounding more than 260.
