Police: Children Interrupted Londonderry, NH Break-In, Suspect Fled

LONDONDERRY, N.H. (CBS/AP) — Police in Londonderry are looking for a man who broke into a home while three children were home alone.

Police have identified the suspect as 27-year-old Ryan Noel.

"There is currently an active arrest warrant for Ryan and we are hoping to have him under arrest soon," Londonderry Police Det. Christopher Olson said Monday night.

Police say home surveillance video shows Noel trying to open the front door of the home just before 1 p.m. Monday and then forcing his way in through a glass sliding door.

Police say as he began walking up the stairs, one of the children saw him coming toward her. The children, ages 8, 12, and 13, all ran into a room on the third floor and called their parents.

The suspect then left, and was last seen running toward the woods behind the home.
