Danvers Man Dies In Crash After Two-State Pursuit

SEABROOK, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire State Police say a Massachusetts man died after crashing his SUV during a chase.

The incident began Sunday evening when Massachusetts State Police began pursuing a Ford Explorer on Interstate 95. New Hampshire State Police Troopers put spike strips at the state line and followed the vehicle as it continued northbound for a short distance in Seabrook. The SUV then veered into the center median and struck a guardrail.

The driver, 35-year-old Jeffrey Hiltz of Danvers, Massachusetts, died at the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
