Don't Pokemon And Drive, Police Sign Warns

AYER (CBS) – Police have a message for drivers: Put down the Pokemon.

The Pokemon Go app has people glued to their smartphones, and some refuse to take a break even when they're behind the wheel.

So Ayer police have put up a sign to warn Pokemon trainers about the dangers of distracted driving.

"If people are having trouble navigating the world on foot while using Pokémon Go (and you know who you are!), just imagine the catastrophes that can happen while driving a vehicle!" the department said in social media postings.

Unfortunately, some have already learned this lesson the hard way.
