Plymouth Company Hopes To Bring Jetpacks To U.S.

PLYMOUTH (CBS) – A Massachusetts company is working to help bring jetpacks to the United States.

Avwatch, based in Plymouth, signed a deal with Martin Aircraft of New Zealand.

The two companies plan on working together to find ways to use jetpacks in the United States.

Martin Aircraft manufactures manned and unmanned jetpacks.

Avwatch, meanwhile, works with government agencies at the federal, state and local levels to help improve security and disaster recovery.

The company was founded in 2008.
