Plane Makes Emergency Landing At Chelmsford High School

CHELMSFORD (CBS) - A small airplane operated by the Coast Guard made an emergency landing at Chelmsford High School on Friday afternoon.

According to Chelmsford Police, the pilot of the Cessna 182 landed on the high school athletic fields because of a mechanical failure.

The lone male pilot was not injured and no fuel leaked.

The plane took off from Minute Man Air Field in Stow and was destined to return there.

The FAA is investigating the incident.
